A Little Bit of a Bio

Well, there's not much to my life so far, but for those of you who might be interested, here you go.

I was born and raised in Texas and lived the majority of that upbringing in the small East Texas town of Longview. Actually, for a town of 70,000 people in the middle of nowhere, it has quite a few famous attachments. Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker was born in Longview. I grew up alongside Matthew McConaughey at our family church, as well as being taught in Sunday school by Robin Wright Penn's stepmother. Some other famous people from the area are Academy Award winner Sissy Spacek and Eagles lead singer Don Henley.

After high school graduation, I moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA's School of Theater, Film & Television. After 4 years, I graduated with a BA in Theater and started down the path of struggling artist. I have had many of the typical actor day jobs over the years, including bartending, temping, and retail. Some of the craziest though were pyrotechnician, telemarketer for a wholesale seafood company, and professional gambler (totally legal, I promise).

I received my SAG card working on the film "Proud" for Tommy Hilfiger's entertainment company TH Entertainment. Most recently, however, I managed to write and produce my very first short film ("Politics & Romance") with my friend Patrick Censoplano, as well as star in it. It was a hard task, but oh so worth it. Hopefully soon, it will be making the rounds in the festival circuit. Then, after that...*fingers crossed*

Recently, I got the chance to help out my friend Dan McLaughlin on the upcoming Fox game show "Don't Forget the Lyrics." It's a karaoke-type game built like "Who Wants to be a Millionaire." I had the joy of being one of his backup singers, as well as the pleasure of being on national television.
